Individuals

If you are interested in individual sessions with me, you can expect a warm, compassionate presence, combined with evidenced based interventions. I offer some of the best tools today to assist and support your overall holistic mental health.

Many insurance providers cover the expenses of working with an RCC. Life is understandably challenging as we go through phases and chapters, in addition to the current stressors of life in 2025. I have worked with children as young as 9, to teenagers, adults and seniors.

Treatment modalities I regularly use, in addition to some of my practice history:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy & Stress Reduction (MBCT & MBSR)

  • The Bader-Pearson Developmental Model & Gottman Couples Approaches

  • I am registered with ICBC and CVAP; I direct bill to these provincial providers. If requested, I provide medical legal reports regarding personal injury. I have extensive experience working with individuals and families that have experienced an MVA across the Lower Mainland, Toronto and Southwestern Ontario

  • Working in vocational rehabilitation consulting and counselling, I previously assisted people across British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario who were taking medical leaves via Assessment, Resource Planning and Return to Work initiatives.  I have worked with clients across all sectors and assisted people from diverse backgrounds

Couples

  • Couples often arrive in the counselling office frustrated and tired of cyclical conflict patterns... I'm here to help with that.
You can learn how to understand and manage the difficult emotions that get triggered in partnership conflict and see your relationship through a new lens, for a more clear vision, with a deeper sense of fulfillment. We'll look at how you got to where you are in your relationship, and assist you with the tools you'll need for the challenging growth inherent in our partnerships

  • I truly hope to normalize ‘enmeshment stuff’, see the positives of it, but importantly help you to understand the limits this places on a relationship and provide a path beyond the ‘blame and defend’ cycles of conflict that are so common to us humans. Often couples leave sessions feeling better understood with improved pathways for connection and communication, but this can take time and focus and commitment

  • You can expect me to offer redirections and coaching w regards to finding helpful ways to communicate and relay functional communication that encourages growth, real change, ownership, accountability and connection
